Houstis in Diakofti

It is located east of Diakofti. Recent excavations here have found evidence of human life from 3,800 BC. The multiple and long-term use of the cave by humans can be seen from findings from the classical and Roman eras found here. It is probable that this cave also functioned as a sanctuary.

Its entrance is carved in stone and the stairs that are created go down to the floor.

The cave is not used for tourism and has only natural light.

Access: From the village of Diakofti with an easy dirt path.
