Canyoning in Kythira

Kythira have many beautiful and green gorges. Four are of greater interest for canyoning: The Watermills that start from the village of Mylopotamos and end at Kalami beach in the west, Kakia Lagada that starts from the Castle city of Paleochora and ends in Limni beach in the north part of the island, Kakavos which is located between the villages Mitata and Viaradika in the center of the island and Koufougialos which starts from the village of Dourianika and ends at the beach Koufos Gialos in the west of the island.

These gorges are not of any particular difficulty, while depending on the season, in some of them water runs, waterfalls are formed with a height of up to 15 meters. Most of these routes have anchorages.
