Hiking in Kythira

In Kythira, a large and very interesting network of hiking trails has recently been developed and marked. The extensive network of trails that connects the more than sixty settlements of Kythira, makes the island a unique tourist paradise. Wonderful routes in verdant ravines with springs, in rugged paths that lead to dreamy beaches with crystal clear waters, in old bridges and mills make the visitor feel like he is walking in time. Many of these trails are from the Minoan years and run through the whole island.

In recent years, a systematic effort has been made to highlight the old paths of the island, which is increasing every year. The visitor can follow the engraved and mapped hiking trails enjoying places of special natural beauty. Walking in Kythira, one discovers their hidden treasure. Guided tour services on the paths of Kythira are offered by notable tourist businesses on the island.
