Castle of Avlemonas
The Venetian fortress observatory on the east coast of the island was built in the 16th century in Avlemonas, which at that time was one of the most important ports of the place.
The locals established the name “Castelo”. Cute architecturally, it saves its main areas and some of its cannons and is a tourist attraction of the picturesque seaside village.
