Livadi
In the shopping center of the southern part, Livadi, dominates the monumental English bridge “Katouni” with the twelve arches as well as the English school of “Milapidea”, a building with gothic arches.
The oldest Byzantine church that survives in Kythira, the church of Agios Andreas is also here, while the old post-Byzantine church of the Ascension in Kato Livadi houses the museum-collection of “Byzantine Antiquities”, which is open every Wednesday from 09:00 to 15:00
