Scuba diving in Kythira
The magic of the rich seabed of Kythira is highlighted through this activity. Cannons of old pirate hulls, huge winches of modern shipwrecks, parts of airplanes of World War II and of course sea turtles, seals, blackfish, octopuses, lobsters and cuttlefish, accompany the lover of the scuba diving to the peaceful crystal clear waters of the island.
Beautiful corals and rock formations are revealed, while a wonderful underwater world embraces and calms the visitor, thanks to the loss of gravity. Many of the underwater sea caves of Kythira are still unexplored, mainly on the southwest side of the island.
